Frequently asked questions

Short answers about how Creator Growth Group invests in YouTube channels.

What is Creator Growth Group?

Creator Growth Group is a YouTube creator investment fund led by founder Joe Famalette in Los Angeles. We invest up front in YouTube channels and help with team, sponsors and new revenue. Creators keep control of the channel.

How much does Creator Growth Group invest?

Our typical check is $25,000–$250,000, paid up front. We write the check first, then work with the creator on team, sponsors and new revenue.

How does the deal work?

We invest first and share in the result through a 20%–40% profit or revenue share, with larger partnerships available for the right channel. You run the channel and keep the last word on content.

Do creators keep creative control?

Yes. Creators keep full creative control. You decide what you publish, and you approve every sponsor deal. We do not run the channel.

What help do you give besides capital?

Teambuilding: editors, writers, researchers and assistants. Sponsors: we find and close brand deals. New revenue: FAST, AVOD, licensing and syndication, so your content reaches screens that are not YouTube.

How do I pitch my channel?

Use the Pitch your channel form on our Contact page and tell us about your channel. We back a select group of creators, so not every pitch becomes a deal.

Who runs Creator Growth Group?

Founder and General Partner Joe Famalette leads the fund in Los Angeles. By the numbers: 80+ channels, 3.6B lifetime views, $8.5M raised.
